When I use olive oil to oil pull, it drys and burns my mouth???

I read olive oil is suppose to have a peppery taste so I assume it is normal.

But anyone else have this problem with olive oil and what they did to fix it?

I'm afraid after using olive oil to oil pull, it may eventually destroy my taste buds?
