It is important to understand that just killing the mold that is present is not enough to resolve the problem. In order to truly get a handle on your situation it is critical that you find the source of the mold. This could very well be a leaky faucet, pipe, etc. Without identifying the source the conditions for mold growth will always be present. A certified mold inspector in your area should have helped identify where the moisture is coming from and possibly suggested a remediation team. Once the problem is fixed, you can begin the cleanup process either yourself or through a contractor.
