Fluoride Poisoning

I changed my toothpaste!

Now to start from the beginning. I moved into a new house June 2013, spent all summer outside and got cheilitis August 2013 . I was constantly in chlorinated water at the pool and I suspect there to be a higher content of chlorine in the water at my new house compared to my old home and also started drinking water from the tap in a Brita filter.

Supposedly chlorine and fluoride interact together to cause an Iodine deficiency if you don't have the proper vitamins to counteract fluoride poisoning. The fluoride toothpaste was causing the cheilitis and the other awful symptoms I was having for example; fatigue, dry mouth, brain fog, Psoriasis on scalp, and perioral dermatitis.

It's only been two days since starting to use Tom's of Maine instead of colgate or crest, but the crusts are gone off my lips and the protective barrier has come back. I hope the white ring around my lips will go away within the week so I can put the last 9 months behind me.
