I am chelating with amalgams in.
My dr. advised me that it's ok to chelate with
Amalgams in b/c the rate at which the DMSA removes the mercury is greater than what is released by the amalgams. However, I was still scared to proceed based on all the info online that says not to do it. And I asked him about this info. He said to do whichever I prefered, but he didn't even think I needed to remove the alagams as long as I chelated (I have 9 of them).
So...I decided to go with his advice and I started chelating with DMSA and ALA 7 weeks ago with a mouth full of mercury. He was right, and I have not had any problems at all. Just last week, I did go ahead and start removal with 2. Even though he says I don't have to remove them, I plan to, though not in a rush.
I just wanted to post this in case anyone else is in my situation and is conflicted on what to do. I will also add that I'm not terribly sick though I have a candida issue, infertility and chronic bladder problems. But I function great on a day-to-day basis. I've been chasing bladder problems for years, so I hope the mercury issue will help.
