Re: I HATE my job, but can't quit b/c

It's terrible for both your mental
and physical health to work at a
job you hate.

Ask yourself this: what kind of work
do I really enjoy doing? What kind of work do I like so much that I'd
do it for free?

Then find a company or an employer
who offers the kind of work you'd
like to do. Make an appointment
with the CEO, if you can. Tell him
or her that you've always wanted
to do the kind of work they offer.

Tell him that you want to work for
his company SO much, that you're
willing to apprentice yourself --
work for nothing -- until he and
his associates decide you're up
to speed and are earning your keep.

If you say that -- and mean it --
the boss will sense your honesty.
And he'll be very flattered. I think
he'll hire you on the spot. You will
have made his day. Employers almost
never interview prospective employees with that kind of enthusiasm. Think how YOU'D feel in
his place, if someone came to you
and made an identical offer.

Find the kind of work that you
consider play -- and then find a
way to get paid for it. You can still do that in America.

Blessings,

Owen
