I haven't seen any lately, but once got a flying palmetto w/ a fly swatter and when I leaned in to look at it, the damn thing screamed! A very high pitch whine sound...

Nobody believed it until it finally came out in the newspaper about them.

Since I used borax in all the nooks and crannies of my home, I maybe see a roach once a year. Little gnats and mosquitos are more of a problem.
