Re: Is Heaven and Hell Real?
Heaven is real. However, no one who has ever totally and completely died has come back to tell what heaven really is like. That is because once you die you are "conscious of nothing at all" according to the Bible (Ecclesiastes 9:5,6,10). Heaven is a place where the Most High God Jehovah, His Son Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ anointed brothers and the myriads of angels reside. Heaven is not a place where good people who have died go to. God's original purpose is for humans to live forever on a paradise earth (Genesis 1:26-28). There is no indication in the beginning of mankind's creation that heaven is a place for good people to good to when they die. That is not God's purpose for all humans. A few in comparison to the vast majority of obedient mankind will be privileged to reside there with Jehovah God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the myriads of angelic family (Revelation 14:3). However, the many peoples from all the nations of the earth will be here on a beautiful, peaceful, secure, and pristine earth with it's many infinite varieties of life forms visible and invisible to
Once a person dies there is no more conscious activity either mentally or emotionally. The dead cannot come back to hurt, harm, warn, or help you. This is a great hoax that Satan the Devil and his demonic forces use to mislead people to the truth concerning the real condition of the dead. So-called near-death or clinical deaths experiences are influenced by the demons. They, the demons, create a serene, peaceful, supposedly heavenly-like atmosphere in the person's mind while he or she is unconscious or in a deep sleep. These wicked forces may utilize and imitate voices and appearances of those who have already died; and as a result if the person who was in a coma, or unconscious wakes up and recovers from this vivid so-called heavenly experience, they will automatically believe that they been to heaven and talked to friends and relatives who have died already.
The question about hell or a fiery place of torment being a place where bad people go has been up for debate for centuries. The simple answer to that burning issue or question is this: Hell is mankind's common grave. Good and bad people go to the Bible's hell ("Sheol", is the Hebrew form or word for hell and "Hades" the Greek form or word for hell.
It stands to reason that a loving God would not torment and burn humans for an eternity. Once we all die, good and bad, the Bible says we have been "acquitted from our sin". Also, think about this: Nothing burns forever. Even the hardest metal or iron will eventually be melted down to nothing. Also, you cannot burn something invisible that is a spirit.
Fortunately, the Bible offers a wonderful hope for those who have died. The Scriptures speak of the wonderful miracle of "the resurrection" that will soon take place in mankind's coming history (John 11:11-45; Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29; Isaiah 26:19).
