Debatable
Thanks for everyone's thoughts on this matter. I personally have no problem going back to the support forum to discuss christian matters and worship. However, I don't find scripture (the word of God) to be debatable...only theology is debatable. Sounds more like people want the debate forum to become another "Fight Forum", instead of a place where christians can go and discuss their differences while not polluting the Biblical Christian Forum with unpeaceful discussion. We have finally found that this works for us.
Many do not know what goes on behind the scenes with different people here at Curezone. We may debate like crazy online and may have a occasional falling out, but we love each other We are learning how to behave in a world that is not our world and still have the Kingdom of God in our hearts as God would have us live. We used the debate forum as a way to do that. Everyone is learning.
Nothing can be hijacked here because the way the forums are designed. Anyone can start a thread at any time. Now just because no one is wanting to debate right now, does not mean someone has taken over a whole forum. If someone is too intimidated to post a new thread, then they are too soft to be here in a debate forum in the first place. (My opinion of course) There can be numerous threads going at one time. No one has to feel forced to join any certain thread if they don't want to....yet they can start another subject if they so choose and hope that someone that wants to debate will come along and give it a go.
For example my post down below titled "What Does "Lord Willing" Really Mean?" Is highly debatable. It presses every button every christian friend I have on curezone has. Anyone could have come and debated if they wanted to. However, many are taking a break right now and don't want to debate. And if anyone else thinks that is not something they would debate because it's not what they are interested in...well...tough cookies. Not everyone is interested in the all the same things.
Whats getting ready to happen? Is someone going over to the Political forum and tell InCharge to get off the forum next? Has he squatted there too long? Please just give this some thought....there is more to consider here than meets the eye.
