Wopping contents of B12! Could the fact that sardines are eaten with bones and everything contribute? Probably.
I find it interesting how some food items seem to concentrate one mineral or vitamin; so when we have the craving somehow the body knows what to pick.
For zinc I would choose oysters, or the vegetarian variety pumpkin seeds, though they say zinc is not that easy utilized from vegetables, I believe it is just another absorbtion issue caused by other deficiencies.
Right now I am on aspargus and spinach craving, again. Oysters always, anytime; raw, energetic food!
Aspargus; sulfur, rubidium (yes, I didnt supplement with sulfur lately, so the craving came back)
spinach; I had this craving when I was vegetarian; I would guess vit K2, combined with butter for utilizing it.
