Richard Mack: County Sheriffs Got to Step Up to the Plate

SHERIFF GILLESPIE of CLARK COUNTY, NV

Sheriff Richard Mack: Sheriff Gillespie (Clark County) is meeting with the BLM right now. So, hopefully he’s going to be telling them, “I’m either taking your guns or you guys need to get out of here. What that meeting could be like? I don’t trust it to be quite honest with you, because I don’t trust Sheriff Gillespie.

I would imagine Sheriff Gillespie, because he has been on the side of the BLM on a lot of this, or he’s been a no-show MIA, on this issue, I would imagine that he’s really going to try to negotiate with them, maybe invite them to coffee… really try to say to them, “Hey, you guys, you got me in a bad spot here, I really need you to do something that’s going to get me out of this spot.” That’s really what I believe he’s saying to them.

So hopefully the BLM will side with the Sheriff & say, “Yeah okay, we’ll get out of here & we’ll talk to you later.”
