Re: Any link between Iodine deficiency and Alzheimer's?

Many years ago I gave a couple of bottles to a young man, he did lots of lifting hard work. Later on at his girlfriends home, a multi-generational family, the girlfriend grandmother would never speak, she sat there rocking back and forth, maybe Alzheimer. So they gave the grandmother some water with six drops of Iodine in the nascent state. An then she started speaking to them. (I got the story from the young man and can not confirm it.)
