I wouldn't say I took a "pill" it didn't require a prescription and is basically a vitamin for your stomach but I get what you mean.
Are you 100% sure it's not your diet? I know for a fact that my constant eating of noodles was the cause of mine (besides that I eat VERY healthily).
Ever since I cut that out and took the tablets I've been fine. If you're situation is really to do with anxiety I'd suggest looking into yoga and meditation (might sound lame to you but it works for things like that)
