Re: Skin rash and candida?

Your symptoms sound like those of a typical candida patient. As a result of past antibiotic use, you most likely have low levels of HCL in the stomach. This decreases absorption of many nutrients - protein, B12, folic acid, iron, iodine, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and other minerals. Decreased absorption of B12, protein, and zinc, which is necessary for fatty acid metabolism for healthy, moist skin.

You also have blood sugar imbalances induced by antibiotics plus candida. That is called reactive hypoglycemia and each episode creates an 8-hour cycle of imbalances that throws off your hormones, immune system, adrenals, and nervous system.

I would do the Candida Plan - www.candidaplan.com and follow the blood sugar protocol. HCL supplementation may not be necessary.
