I'm not sure your reasons for deciding on RO. But I considered one and then decided on a distiller. RO works pretty well, but it still can waste water. In contrast, distillation is a fool-proof way to make sure every bit of contaminant dissolved in your water is filtered out. It uses basic physics to bypass all the complications of identifying contaminants, finding the right filter and making sure your filter is still good. Waterwise is a great company for getting one of these. Always helpful. Here's an article on why to use a distiller:
