How do people..? It's not so easy to go back to the first cause- I consider myself lucky I did not get swallowed up by this dispensing-of-drugs, when I was going through
what I later realized was a spiritual Emergence, and not a psychiatric Emergency. I was given Ativan and Xanax, took them each once or twice, and saw that they did nothing but create a sort of fog wall Over the experience, and I fairly quickly ditched them. However, I did have to navigate the experience, and I did it through 'left-handed writing' (which is a way of releasing what is coming up), and some other stuff, like finding a really good counsellor, who accepted artwork as payment. Had I got into the system, I am certain I would have been institutionalized, and it could have been a long road back. As soon as there are cracks in the so-called 'real world', which can happen young for some sensitive souls, this is when the claws of the big machine descend on the vulnerable. To be crass about it, much of it can be reduced to $$$. Not for the "victims", but for the few. You know the story.

And sadly, many parents, those who might be able to defend a young person at a time of great vulnerability, are themselves already trapped in having given away their own * in-tuition *, which is their best protection against the sham concept of pharmaceutical deficiencies. What's truly the big question, and we seem to be slowly waking up to it, is, how did we let the earth become so deficient, removing all its minerals, mono-cropping, and basically feeding it anti-biotics, and then demanding it produce, produce, produce! Naturally, the result is no good flora, and no minerals, which is at the root of the hell that people get locked in, same as the earth.

You were very lucky your dad was against drugs.
But how sad you daughter is going through this.
I put a lot of it down to the deep lack of minerals.

Form a more positive POV, i can see that the people who come out the other side of this are so necessary to building a new Earth that really GETS the importance of approaching lifer pro-biotically, in all ways, at all levels, and with not one excluded. That represents an entire shift out of the current paradigm.
