IMO these "sugar snakes" are the biggest part of the itchy feelings we have... At least for me... When symptoms were at their their worst, I was loaded with these creepy things!

Some of them were ~very~ long compared to the few I see lately... Once doing a footbath with red clay and borax it felt like my shin and ankle vibrated and then a very visible 5+ in. pitch black "hair snake" somehow instantly appeared out of my leg! I mean it was WEIRD how fast it happened... This sounds so crazy, but it seemed to rise straight up, the whole length all at once out of my skin, from the top of my foot to the shin... Never seen skin act that way...??? That was Before I started pix of everything : (

Now I definitely see more of the fungal threads. What's more is now they are becoming what could possibly be considered lichen formations. Threads are basically the same except there are "balls" of algae/cyanobacteria/? growing evenly spaced along the length of the thread. ~Heavy sigh~ Wish I knew all the right terminology etc... Will post pix...

Mostly I find "threads" on towels, stuck on clothing, or sometimes on the floor... Occasionally after showering wet on the shower floor. I'm careful to make sure it didn't just come off the towel either.

This is terrible but I don't know if this particular one came from the floor or clothing....
