For the past 3 nights I've eaten Dannon's activia yogurt for a snack like an hour before bedtime. I've noticed a fair reduction in my ammonia Body Odor , and a big reduction in breath odor, each morning. I suspect that I have more bad than good gut bacteria, which is causing me to smell. I'm going to lay off the junk foods and start eating yogurt twice a day.
The good bacteria in yogurt alone isn't enough to repopulate the gut, because the good bacteria eventually die off and need to be replaced. Also, doctors recommend billions of good bacteria or probiotics to have an impact on gut flora. I'm going to take a combo of probiotics and yogurt to see what impact (if any) these may have on my odor. I'll keep you folks updated.
