I found a positive and a negative. This
is the positive one.
The fresher the nut, the better. Freshly shelled are the most healthy nuts. Since natural forms of selenium are stored in the body, you don't have to feed them to your dog daily. You can crush one-half of a Brazil nut per day for every 50 pounds your dog weighs. (3-1/2 nuts per week) For a small dog of ten pounds or less, one crushed nut per week is great! Tweet
