He'd never mention the "P" word and I don't know whether he was simply deluding himself that it was something else or if he knew. He denied seeing a doctor and getting diagnosed but I wonder. I know he didn't want anyone to know. I tried to encourage him to do a supervised fast but he was stubborn and had to do it his way.
