Re: Where ya'll from?
"I KNEW you looked great! And single?! If I was single, I'd move to the states and take up river running!"
Daim you can tell all that from them pixs? Hey you can be my agent and start taking apps for single easy on the eyes nature loving fems into healthy lifestyle and fitness looking for a renaisnace man in Lanta GA ;+D
Your little jungle escapes sound extra neato cool! Got any pixs to show us?? I love sleeping in hammocks. It is by far the lightest and most efficient shelter when backpacking. I have a super cool hammock that has mosquito netting so you are coccooned inside protected from the bugs. It is a very interesting and simple new design that when you turn your body 15 deg off center allows to lay flat not like in the usually curved position of most hammocks. Of course they're only good in the summer but I've stretched it's use to fairly cool weather by rigging up one of them mylar reflective emergency blankets underneath. I pitch a light weight tarp over the rig for inclement weather and my hole shelter weighs in a just 4 lbs and bundles into a fairly small compression bag. I beats the hell out of sleeping on the ground. There's a pix of the rig set up on the Jacks River Trail page. It's the last pix in the slide show.
Just like for you when I get to get away on those multiday trips in nature it is definetly a "God's health spa" thing. Even on day trips like one I did yesterday I always feel blessed when I come back to town. Ya just can't feel bad when you're out on the river......;+D
