What kind of "distance" are you talking about?  Physical distance?  Emotional distance?  It's a very murky question.

"Distance" in a relationship doesn't necessarily create a "beauty."  It creates a barrier.  Distance assists in keeping secrets and manipulating the parameters of any given relationship.  Perhaps, a little more detail about what you're seeking and what you're expecting might provide more fact-based opinions.
