Probably a record in my state, I got 8 points off my license in one frick'in day back in the 1980's. That was some damned day! So I lost my license. But I needed to drive, my job at the time was 100% based on driving to locations. Well, I had a former female roommate who lived in Iowa. I asked her if I could use her address as mine, go to Iowa and apply for an Iowa license. She agreed. I drove to the smallest Iowa town I could find on the map, went to their DMV, took the test and low and behold...got a license a couple weeks later mailed to her home. My grand experiment had worked and at the time, the states didn't crosscheck for such...I had totally expunged my bad driving record and start anew. Went back to my hometown and used that as my license until the points dropped off and I went back to the regular state license. Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
