Having root canal extracted. Link between candida and root canal?

So i finally visited a biological dentist who is taking the tooth out on the 20th. I can only hope and pray that this is the cause of my issues, otherwise it is one heck of a waste of money for no reason, but i sure am desperate enough to find out if it is the cause. The timing is one heck of a coincidence, but i don't want to get my hopes up and be disappointed. I have noticed that Sugar appears to make the symptoms worse, so i started to think candida was an issue, although i have never had any issue with candida before. Anyone known of a link between candida and root canals? Tweet
