PBSaint: Specimens Appear To Be Hookworm Or Other Nematode

PBSaint -

You didn't specify size of the specimens.  On future pics, place a coin beside them to measure scale.

Offhand, I'd hazard a guess at nematodes (roundworms).

Most likely species is hookworm due to their short, semi-transparent or jelly-like appearance:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hookworms.

Hookworms are usually acquired from infected pets/animals or soil contaminated with their feces.

Cheers - ICU
