Does iodine help with stiff muscles and headache?

I'm asking on behalf of a friend who feels her English isn't good enough to be able to write here.

She has noticed an improvement in headache and stiff shoulder and neck muscles when taking iodine. The air where she works isn't that good. ( Could be a problem with dry rot or mildew or something.)

So she was interested to know if the Iodine is working as a muscle relaxant or if she is feeling the benefits of detox in her muscles.
