Kasima: Albendazole & Ivermectin - Doses, Meals, & Fat Intake

Kasima -

It appears from your recent daily blog comments (http://curezone.com/blogs/f.asp?f=3486) that I didn't clarify how flexible & adjustable your daily meds schedule & meals can be!

The time of day & hours apart for any meds dose are not set in stone.  They can vary from day to day, depending on your scheduled activities each day.

For example, take your 1st dose of Albenza whenever you eat breakfast & your 2nd dose whenever you eat dinner.  The hours of the day (or night if you work a night shift) don't have to be at a certain time or exactly 12 hrs apart.  They can vary each day from 9 to 12 hrs apart & still maintain a decent level of meds in your system.

Take the Ivermectin dose at whatever time you go to bed.  It doesn't have to be taken at a specific time, or on totally empty stomach, or exactly 2 hrs after you ate a meal.  Ivermectin is absorbed into the bloodstream faster & is therefore more potent when it doesn't have to compete with digesting a large pile of food in the gut!  (lol)  It's even okay if you're tempted to nibble on a light snack before bedtime.

You also commented that you miscalculated the # of fat grams in certain foods & weren't taking exactly 40g fat with each Albenza dose.  Your fat intake doesn't have to be exact.  Albenza by itself is poorly absorbed in the gut, & fat acts as a carrier that increases plasma uptake.  Taking 40g fat increases the Albenza bioavailability by a 6-fold measure.  So you can take slightly less fat without significantly affecting the uptake of the med.

For my hectic daily schedule, I found that pouring 4 tbsp melted butter over toast or other food or 3 tbsp olive oil over salad or veggies was the easiest method when I was in a rush or not hungry for a large meal high in fat content.

Hope you find this info helpful for you!  If you have any questions, take 2 aspirin & call me in the morning.  My number is 1-800-WHO-CARES?

Just kitten ya, kitty kat!
