Re: What can one do about Long term Chlorine poisoning

Sodium thiosulfate is an option for chlorine poisoning. I have tried it myself, without the chlorine poisoning; I took it just to test the stuff, had no problems with it.

I would search other causes for the pancreas /beta cells not working; like aflatoxin. This is a mycotoxin; borax may help alot; check our posts about it.

But of course; all the endocrine organs work together, so if one halt the others follow, down or up.. Iodine does not cause the dreaded detox in everyone.
- In my experience the detox is worse if one have been exposed to loads of heavy metals and medications.

About the liver.. is a tough organ, I dont believe it is very damaged from the chlorine. Other things that destroy the liver nowadays; just look up liver cirroses; not from alchohol, but from a standard US diet / medication.
