Found my cure for peeling lips

My lips have been chapped/peeling since october. I think it started when they were chapped i used about 9 or 10 different products on them (some of them rather stupid, like vics vapor rub). When my lips started peeling I would just rip the skin off and when it would grow back it would turn white when in contact with water and come off. Or i would just peel it off.

fast forward to earlier this week, i was browing this forum (i lurked on here for the past month or two) and came accross a thread which mentioned aloe vera gel caps. I had aloe vera gel in a bottle but not the gel caps. I went out and bought the same ones as in the thread i saw. They contain soybean oil, hydrogenated vegetable oil, glycerin and white beeswax. I had peeled all the skin off my lips the previous day so they were pretty raw still. For the first few days of using this stuff i put it in my lips about probably 6 or 7 times. After a few days my lips were looking pretty good and the skin was growing back the same color as my lips, and it was growing back attached to my lips, not half of it hanging off like previously. Its been about a week now since ive been using the aloe vera gel caps and my lips are basically healed. I did order some dr dans cortibalm last week and got it in the mail today. so im using that right now to, to finish this off . id say my lips are at about 85-90% healed right now.
