Cold hands, feet and brain fog after enema

I have a friend that's been doing coffee enemas for quite sometime but whenever she does them her hands and feet become cold and she gets severe brain fog. Thinking it was the coffee causing her problems she did a epson salt water enema and had the same results. There's times that the enemas effect her so severely she bed bound. Any suggestions on what could be causing these symptoms? Thanks
