Re: celiac and gall bladder disease
Hi, I'm just found this forum and am chiming in here (so sorry if I'm off track with my comment). I have hypothyroid and adrenal fatigue, and I believe Candida and Estrogen Dominance were the causes of a chain of health issues. I'm wondering if you treat your hypothyroid condition with hormone supplements? I found, when I had the worst Candida, I had a hard time getting better because my hypothyroid low body temp was too hospitable to systemic infections. My allergy doc tested me, and I am also allergic to Candida, which makes everything worse. I'm in sublingual antigen therapy treatment for allergies. I also had a lot of gallbladder issues, and found out a lot of thyroid patients have them too. I'm just wondering if you've thought of working in reverse, and treating your thyroid and adrenal glands to give your body some energy for healing? I don't know if that goes against the protocol here, but when my thyroid pooped out, my tissues weren't healing quickly, and flushes felt like they were going to kill me (literally, I ended up in the ER with heart arrhythmia a GB flush). Now that I have my thyroid levels up, I'm working backwards through the other issues. My (integrative MD) doctor thinks I can get off thyroid medication eventually. I too had a normal GB scan, despite pain. I have to stay on a gluten-free, low-grain diet, and of course avoid sugar. My Candida is back because I had fibroid surgery this last year, and got a fever afterwards, so they put me on heavy-duty antibiotics. Otherwise I was doing OK before that.
