Re: Can L-Glutamine cause Candida die off
It sounds like you do have leaky gut aka increased intestinal permeability syndrome or accurately increased stomach permeability. The pain you get on the left hand side sounds like an immune reaction to large food molecules as it is absorbed through the hyper permeable area of your stomach and your immune system is reacting to it. There is inflammation which contributes to maintaining the permeability.
I hope that you have tested with HCL to find out how much you need for your meal sizes? I have found that Malic Acid has worked wonders to reduce my requirement for HCL which is quite expensive. I was taking 12 648mg HCL capsules which just caused a slight burning and I can get the same result with half a glass of Malic Acid, some Xylitol (10ml) and a drop of Clove essential oil. 4 capsules of HCL with the same size meal, actually an identical meal and I get a slight burning sensation. Therefore a third less HCL for the same effect. It has slashed my costs by quite a bit. I get my Malic acid from tradeingredients and the xylitol from bulkpowders.
You will need to seal your stomach and soup stock is meant to be very good at doing that. Eat it as many times a day as you can.
B12 is a good choice, which in high doses stimulates the activity of the body's TH1 suppressor T-Cells which down regulates the over production of IgE anti body production that could be helpful if you have leaky gut. It helped me an enormous amount, improved my body clock making my hours far more normal. That is one supplement that I could not be without! I take quite a lot of it as well, 20mg a day. The cheapest source I have found is health monthly. I might have to try higher doses of a cheaper form because the Methyl form gets quite expensive. It's whether it would absorb as well and be effective.
