Thanks for the quick response. Wow! I was afraid you would say that. I learned also that my field line does not branch from the tank. It is a continuous run out the end of the tank that stops where the yard begins a steep slope. There it turns and runs back, then turns again for another short run. There is an oak tree less than 10 feet from where it makes its first turn and this is where the worst puddling is. I have researched and learned that copper sulfate flushed down the commode at a rate of 2lbs for every 300gal should kill any roots in the lines and restore flow. I'm hoping this is all it will take. The septic seep site says their product can be flushed down the toilet, but it is better to put it directly in the lines. If I need to use the peroxide or lime sulfur I wonder if just using more product than you outline could overcome the dilution from the tank? I want to add the risers, but it will have to be later in the year before I can. I need results now though.
