Adrenal Fatigue& Hypothyroidism - Possible to heal with supplements

Hi everybody,

I´m suffering from Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and probably also from adrenal fatigue.
A lot of my problems solved already, but some thyroid issues occured recently, probably because of nutritional deficiencies and adrenal fatigue. I´m trying to cure them naturally (supplements+diet) but got some problems with that. Maybe somebody of you guys might help me with finding a connection between everything :)

My story is:

June 2013 I was bed-ridden for almost a year already and got high nitric oxide levels and a mitochondriopathia diagnosed (=low ATP-levels). In addition to that my doctor told me I was deficient in many minerals and had low adrenaline/ noradrenaline levels plus very high histamine levels.

In August the doctor prescribed me Vit D, Vit C, Aminoacid-Complex,S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe), Vit B12, CoEnzym Q10, B-Complex, Magnesium and Potassium.
I was doing a lot better after around 3 months, but I was still suffering from fatigue and weakness (though I could go for a walk again, concentrate on reading etc.).

But in November my situation got worse again and I was extremly tired and weak. At that time my thyroid began to feel really thick and I got a salty taste in my mouth all the time.
Then in December I found out I was very deficient in Selenium, low in copper and ferritin (levels around 25). I started supplementing selenium and felt much better the first days, but then got really tired and weak again. I then added copper and iron, but that dind´t have any imediate effects. In addition to the fatigue pain in the thyroid occured for the first time.

When I started eating foods high in Iodine the pain and my muscle weakness got a lot better, but I was still extremely tired.
Recently I figured out that I am probably low in Vitamin A because my food doesn´t contain any (have to keep a diet), beta-carotene isn´t converted properly and I got almost every symptom of deficiency.

I started supplementing Vit A a week ago and now I am feeling even more tired than before and again I got some pain in my thyroid and feel very weak. In addition to that my skin got a bit better in the first 2-3 days but now everything seems to worsen again.

So my questions are:

When having adrenal fatigue it´s not recommended to take thyroid hormones, isn´t it?

And is it maybe a good sign that I´m even more tired than before (maybe because the body is working now?!)?

I´m happy about any hints :)

Yours

Nana
