I went to college in my home country so I really don't know about US college. I also wasn't smelling as bad as I do now. I didn't have fbo then only homeless smell. In my case high school and college were similar.

To OP you should go to college and worry about it when you're there. Otherwise, you'll regret if later coz you might be on minimum wage job and smelling. If you go to college and have a better job, you can afford whatever supplement you want to buy.
