Possible Seborrheic Dermatitis. P5P interactions. Strange reaction.

Hello!

So I have some sort of scalp dermatitis, possibly seborrheic, and is also lightly around my cheeks and forehead.

I've read around about this and I have seen some relatively unscientific nutrition websites extolling the virtues of b6 for Seborrheic Dermatitis . It might not even be seborrhea...

I've tried lots of things, so I figured I would give P5P a shot.

The problem is, I took 30 mg p5p for about 3 days and my hair gets unbelievably dry. Brittle and dry. My hair goes from where I can scratch grease off (Sorry, gross.) to super dry and a bit painful.

I've never heard of this reaction. I'm having no "typical" symptoms of b6 toxicity. No tingling, etc.

I just find this strange and I'm wondering if I should try something else or if this could be a detox reaction that I'm having.

I'm in very good shape and always have been but lately (for the last year maybe) my scalp is acting up with dermatitis. My lungs also seem to be affected by this, possibly asthma, and I seem to have a chronic sore throat. The back of my throat is red but it doesn't hurt. I have no idea where any of this came from.

(Also, I'm not having any noticeable stomach troubles.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
