Re: Water softener question

I have a question. I am allergic to water softeners, I cant shower in water that has them , I hive and burn and boil. Pure poison to me and no allergest has a test to confirm it. I work in the suburbs and drink the water softened water. For the past year I have had debilitating muscle pain, cramping, etc possibly due to ingesting this water. My Rheumatoid doc thinks I am dealing with a electolyte imballance. If I work to replennish my electrolytes does this water softener issue affect my electrolyes? And could that be a part of the problem?
