tmj with vertigo and tinnitus

has anyone ever experienced tmj with vertigo and tinnitus (ringing in ears)?
i have had vertigo and tinnitus for nearly 2 months now. after exloring a lot of causes and visiting a few doctors im still not close to a solution. ive read that tmj can cause this. i was diagnosed with grinding teeth by my dentist a few years ago and had a custom mouth guard made up to wear at night. i dont have much pain in my jaw but get a slight tenderness in my right jaw every now and again. the tinnitus is mostly present in my right ear also. but other than this i have no other pain. if i grind my teeth during the day the ringing and vertigo immediately gets worse
has anyone else experienced similar symptoms? would it be worth getting a more avanced mouth guard? the one i have now is just a basic plastic mould. since the fee for visiting a specialist tmj doctor and the cost of a more advanced mouth guard is quite high id like to be sure the tmj is the cause. but since i have little or no associated pain i am quite skeptical Tweet
