What is lactoferrin and where would I get it?
Briefly, after a bad bout of Pneumonia and of course too many Antibiotics I naively followed a doctors directions to try a steroid inhaler. Needless to say after three buffs I had a white tongue. I had the common sense at that point to go to an ENT. The Ent started me on nystatin 8 months ago. Went to infectious diseases Dr. and they would not Rx antifungal medications. Finally, found an integrative holistic doctor (does not take health insurance) and through tests I had never of (antibody IGG, IGA, IGM and Fungetelle) found high levels of fungus in my blood and elevated antibodies. Since the fluconazole, my fungetelle blood test came back normal but still have white tongue and elevated IGG, IGA and IGM antibodies. Of course I am scared to death, was always very healthy until this happened.
