Re: Knee pain after sleep, cold, inactivity
alloshy,
I have exactly the same situation and for one year I had suffered on and off. Only difference is that my pain also traveled to my left hip. All the X-rays and blood tests were negative. My doctor told me that it was the muscle weakness that makes joints hurt. I have done some PT for that but did not help.
One day out of frustration I took an
Epsom Salt )Magnesium Sulphate) bath and my pain was gone, but it did come back the next day. No swelling and no gout. I am a born vegetarian so meat and alcohol are not part of my diet. My doctor gave me Cal-Mag shots for two weeks and I am ok now. But I do have to take 400mg of Cal/mag everyday.
I would suggest you read Dr.Carolyn Dean's book, "The Magnesium Miracle", she has studied effects of Magnesium on our body for many years.
Also get Magnesium oils and rub on the areas that bother you. You can spray it on whole body too. Youtube has many Magnesium related videos, including Carolyn Dean's videos.
Feel better.
