Re: Getting Mirena out - how soon to use progesterone cream?

Ok, so I went ahead and called my doctor and am going today to get this thing out! I am really hoping I start feeling better soon and getting it out will make a difference. From reading some more today my muscle/joint pain might be due to adrenal fatigue.  I already have herbs and vitamins ready to go (Mega Foods Adrenal Support, Mega Foods vitamins, extra zinc, magnesium & vitex - not sure I will use this yet). I do have some Pro-gest that I think I will go ahead and start using 1/8 tsp per day until day 10 or 12 and then go up to 1/4 tsp.

My last doctor only would test my hormones after I requested it and then it was blood test. My progesterone showed .99 and I know that is low but who knows if was the right time of month to check it and blood test aren't great for progesterone. My new doctor just kind of shrugs off my thoughts that I might be estrogen dominant. I guess I am on my own trying to figure it all out. I have all my other hormone results too but I am not sure how to read them and if anything else was off base.

Any feedback for those of you that have "been there done that" would be great!
