Is a Straight Urine test adequate to show Mercury Toxity

My Dr. now wants to give me a straight urine and blood test to determine if I have amalgam/mercury toxicity.He also wants to do a blood Pb test.
Is this likely to show anything worthwhile? or what test should he do?
