Do women have a higher need for long term care compared to men?

I'm just wondering if there is truth in this statement, that women will most likely need long term care services compared to men. I'm a woman in my early 40's, healthy and I don't have family history. I just want to know if planning for care should be a pressing concern for me. Tweet
