Re: DesertLili: question for you.

Hello Chris,
You are so very welcomed!
I am not good at combining exercise with water-fasting. I have such terrible energy lows if I exercise or move too much after day 5! I needed to stop often to not faint.
I have done heavy strenuous physical activity up to day 6 and I was loosing around 2.5 lbs daily on body weight of 120 and BMI around 19 ... not a thing that I recommend if fasting is done for healing. If weight loss is the only goal - it is feasible ... but only if the heart is in a good condition, in my opinion.
On the contrary, light stretching and light walks are good for fasters with joint problems, since it seems to teach the body and joints new, healed, improved ways of moving.
Fruit-fasters do Tibetan exercises, yoga, breathing, walks and have some mental work (and I went to work while fruit-fasting, but never went beyond 15 days on that regimen), only in the limits of their own and reduced pre-fast capacities.
I do not have experience beyond day 15 ... but will definitely update you on moving capacities, when/if I go beyond that mark. I definitely do not recommend "exercising" while water-fasting. Light movements, short walks, stretching: definitely, but not hard muscle work. ... although if it was someone's lifestyle to move, say 10 hrs every day, then I assume, it is natural for them to continue to a certain point (day 10-ish?) and gradually reduce as fast advances.
DL
