Keepin' up with the CE's
Hi gang, haven't been around these parts in some time, hope everyone is doing well.
I have an interesting update, and it has a lot to do with coffee enemas. I fell under the weather pretty badly just Tues night, but I didn't see it coming at all. The reason is because I haven't been this sick since Dec 2010, I broke my three year health streak :(
My theory is that it is mostly in part due to stopping
coffee enemas about 4-6 weeks ago. In around October when I was still doing CE's, I felt my immune system kind of tune down, mostly in the throat area, so I took a 1
oz shot of echinacea before bed and I was fine, continuing on the path of practicing coffee enemas. This time (after stopping CE's after a month) I kind of expected the same thing to happen, thinking "Oh I'll be fine," and the next day I was flat out sick with flu symptoms and am currently battling extreme fatigue, upper respiratory inflammation, etc.
There are a few reasons I stopped:
1)
Dr. Schulze is not a fan of them and recommends wheat grass enemas because of the addictive nature of CE's. I kind of agreed with him a little bit because of some negative press (I heard someone on the TV show "My Strange Addiction" was a
coffee enema person, and that put a label on myself which I didn't feel comfortable with -I haven't watched it yet) I now realize that there are definitely more pros than cons in doing CE's opposed to Schulze's point of view. The definite pro is that someone such as myself, a vegan, who normally experiences a cold about 4x a year has avoided them successfully for 3 years.
2) As stupid as it sounds, I realize I've been suffering for approximately a year from dehydration. It is something I never thought would happen to me after reading all of Schulze's/Dr. Christopher's material on how drinking water is THE most important, numero uno, to any health regimen. I have been somewhat blinded by stress/overload the past year and cut out a lot of my good practices (daily bee pollen/chia/brewer's yeast smoothies, Schulze's liver drinks, only picking up fresh carrot/beet/celery/apple juice occasionally from a local health shop) but never replaced it them with PURE water. Suffering from dehydration caused me to be nauseous ALL the time, even after a coffee enema. I read an article about a 42 yr old woman who drank the recommended 3L of water a day for a month, and it restored a glow and evened out a few wrinkles. So that set off a light bulb, and 2-3L of water a day it was, and I felt great - No more nausea! I decided to take a break from the CE's and here I am days before Christmas, sicker than ever.
All in all, I'm kind of glad it happened this way. It has allowed me to slow down, buy LOTS of juice preparations and reevaluate my health. A reminder that you never have all the answers.
Happy Holidays!
