Re: gamma oryzanol, rice bran extract

The FDA ordered that all red yeast rice products remove the naturally occurring statins. Well either there are other naturally occurring co factors that increase the potency or something. But, they did not quit working. I am not familiar with your brand, but did get this one. I like this company. Iherb.com Lots of brands, here is the beginning page

The one I got is called Cholestene.

I don't think they could remove the naturally occurring statins .Good for nature.
