Re: Amino Acids

Not good. I've had 3 blood tests (2 of which were by competent, integrated practice MDs) and all of them revealed a sluggish thyroid. I just started Armour 2 weeks ago & lost a ton of hair! I've been taking l-glutamine at night to repair my gut, but the real breakthrough was when I started taking l-tyrosine this week, first thing in the a.m., about 45 min after the Armour. I feel MUCH better, but I know if I'm low in the aminos/neurotransmitters that make dopamine/ep/norep, than I'm likely low in other amino acids. I went through a period of EXTREME physical/emotional stress & it really left me running on empty. Salivary sex/adrenal hormone test indicated adrenal fatigue :(
