My concern here would be how strong is the colloidal silver and if it is properly made.  Were you able to use distilled water?  If you are not sure, best to go with the antibiotic.  And Mr. Fluffy would probabaly need a lot of colloidal silver.   Sometimes antibiotics  are necessary when you have nothing else.  But, whether you decide on the antibiotic or not, give him probiotics.  Well, especially if you give him the antibiotic.  But probiotics will also strengthen his immune system.
