EFEXOR XL - Venlafaxine, help with symptoms and effects

Hi,

My husband started taking 'EFEXOR XL" (brand) contains Venlafaxine (75Mg) a month ago. He took the tablet before going to bed was very fatigued the next day but was less stressed, easier to get along with, and happier in himself.

His doctor told him he could take the tablet/drug in the morning instead so that he would have more energy during the day. Since he started taking it in the morning he has more energy but seems to be in his own world and is once again easily stressed. The doctor says that it doesn't make any difference when he takes the tablet- morning or evening. From where I am it seems to make a differecne.

Has anyone had a similar experience in relation to the time they take this drug? And what are the side effects of this drug?

I would really appreciate any feedback.
