Sprouting Legumes for digestibility; enzymes...

I have been having issues with canned black beans and gas... they are feeding the yeast, bacteria in my colon and I'm definitely not digesting the properly, which is leading me to have reactions to various foods... with leaky gut; all of this is not the best I'm assuming.

What beans have you all found to be the best to sprout? I need another carb source to weigh on so my diet is more balanced and I'm not eating so much fat.

...any experiences with people who have leaky gut, candida issues, dysbiosis and sprouting legumes, anything... it would be much appreciated. THANKS!

PS: POSTED THIS IN THE Candida Forum ---------------VVVVV

I have been having mad trouble with yeast fermenting canned black beans I've been eating.. not good. It feels almost as if I've been Sugar binging and my symptoms have been terrible.

So, it seems that oligosaccharides are the sugars we can't break down that reach the large intestine, allowing the yeast to feed.

How can we avoid this and still eat beans?

It seems like sprouting is the way to go.

"During sprouting, the beans lose their objectionable gas producing quality. Research has shown that oligosaccharides are responsible for gas formation. For maintenance of health, some amount of gas production is necessary but it should be within safe limits. As the process of germination ends and sprouting begins, the percentage of oligosaccharides is reduced by 90. Sprouts contain a lot of fibre and water and, therefore, are helpful in overcoming constipation."

Has anyone found this? I need to be able to find a carb source that doesn't end up being desert for my candida, because I can't live off of oils and avocados anymore.

If anyone has any ideas or experiences with what beans have been the best to sprout... please do share. Thanks!

Daniel
