Yes, this is something that I realized quite a while back. My diet now is actually quite high carbohydrate, although I don't try to restrict any macro-nutrients as I feel this is the wrong approach. My experience agrees completely with what you said, eating low-carb symptoms of candida are temporarily reduced but the candida becomes more resistant to elimination, high-carb diet, initially symptoms of candida are more noticeable but it is more easily expelled and eliminated. Candida is a result of improper functioning endocrine system, impaired immunity and reduced digestive capacity, it has nothing to do with eating too much Sugar and carbohydrates (although for some people eating too much Sugar can lead to impaired digestion/immunity).
